Item Análisis de lípidos de biomembranas : curso práctico(UNR Editora, 2008) Rodríguez, Joaquín Valentín; Cravero, Raquel M.; Gallo, Carla; Hourcade, Mónica; Mamprin, María E.; Pellegrino, José M.; Poletti, Giovanni; Stürtz, Nelson G.En los años recientes, la bioquímica de lípidos de membranas ha tenido un crecimiento enorme en la literatura científica, sin embargo han aparecido muy pocos libros que enfoquen la metodología analítica en una forma que integre todas las etapas del análisis.Tampoco se han publicado textos en español que cubran en profundidad esta analítica y que puedan utilizarse para enseñar a estudiantes principiantes en la analítica de lípidos. Teniendo estas consideraciones en mente y con la experiencia obtenida durante el desarrollo del curso de postgrado «Análisis de lípidos de biomembranas» es que hemos escrito este libro. El texto ha sido pensado como un libro introductorio al análisis de lípidos de biomembranas para estudiantes de postgrado de Biología, Bioquímica, Biología Molecular y otras carreras afines. En el texto se ha priorizado el desarrollo experimental de la metodología analítica de lípidos de biomembranas en etapas obviando revisiones de la literatura. En cada etapa del análisis se presenta una breve introducción para luego desarrollar un método seleccionado por los autores; en cada capítulo se incluye un experimento con sus resultados esperados obtenidos de experimentos realizados por estudiantes del curso. Se agregaron además notas adicionales con algunas técnicas y datos útiles para el analista. Se han seleccionado técnicas simples y económicas que bastan para obtener información suficiente sobre la membrana del eritrocito y otros tejidos y membranas de origen natural. Se ha seleccionado como técnica separativa la cromatografía en capa fina que permite visualizar resultados con una inversión en equipamiento muy económica. Los lectores deben considerar que éste es un libro de texto introductorio al análisis de lípidos de biomembranas, que existen técnicas más potentes y sofisticadas como el NMR, la cromatografía de gases acoplada a la espectrometría de masas y la cromatografía de alta performance acoplada a la espectrometría de masas cuyo aprendizaje y utilización merecen tratamientos particulares por su complejidad y extensión y escapan a esta publicación. Han colaborado docentes de la Facultad de Ciencias Bioquímicas y Farmacéuticas de la Universidad Nacional de Rosario que participan del dictado del curso.
