El artículo apunta a estudiar las instancias de producción y circulación de técnicas, habilidades y conocimientos vitivinícolas en la provincia de Mendoza, durante el período de conformación y auge de la principal agroindustria de la región Cuyo, pero también atravesado por crisis recurrentes. Uno de los principales ámbitos para desarrollar aquellas actividades fue la Escuela Nacional de Vitivinicultura, lo cual nos demanda la reconstrucción de su vida institucional. Para comprender su aporte es preciso conocer, también, la función desempeñada por sus egresados en el sector productivo regional. Así, buscamos ofrecer una primera aproximación al proceso de recepción de estos conocimientos entre los viñateros y bodegueros mendocinos. El estudio se fundamenta en la necesidad de incorporar nuevos saberes para poder hacer frente a la modernización y transformaciones tecnológicas que demandaba el nuevo modelo industrial.
This paper tries to know and to analyze the techniques, abilities and knowledge production and circulation of wine industry in the province of Mendoza, during the conformation, height and crisis periods of the main industry of the region of Cuyo (Argentina). One of the main scopes to work these activities was the “Escuela Nacional de Vitinicultura”. In order to understand its contribution to this process it is precise to know, also, the function carried out by withdrawn in the regional production. When reconstructing the process it is possible to offer a first approach to the reception of these knowledge between winegrowers workers. This study is based on the incorporation of new knowledge to be able to face the modernization and technological transformations demanded by a new industrial model.
