| dc.description.abstract | Desde la publicación de Aesthetica (1750) de Alexander G. Baumgarten se produjo un vivo debate sobre el estatuto del arte, ya liberado de concepciones esencialistas y normativas de la belleza. La relatividad estética vinculada a las culturas y el momento histórico fue trabajada en paralelo con el rol social y de conocimiento del arte, los valores relativos de la forma, el contenido y la actividad del perceptor. Con foco primero en Inglaterra y luego en Alemania, este debate es el sustrato presente y activo de las distintas operaciones a través de las cuales arquitectos e historiadores del arte, entre 1920 y 1937, elaboran las , primeras formulaciones teóricas sobre la arquitectura moderna. Esta compilación se adentra sinópticamente en algunos textos claves de Joseph Addison, David Hume, Edmund Burke, Immanuel Kant, Gotthold Ephraim Lessing, G. W. F. Hegel, Konrand Fiedler, Alois Riegl, Wilhelm Worringer, Heinrich Wölfflin, Wassily Kandinsky, Paul Valéry, Henri Focillon y Rudolf Arnheim de indudable trascendencia en las reflexiones sobre el estatuto de de la nueva arquitectura. | es |
| dc.description.abstract | Since the publication of Aesthetica (1750) by Alexander G. Baumgarten there was a lively debate on the status of art, free from essentialist and normative conceptions of beauty. Aesthetic relativity linked to cultures and historical time was worked in parallel with the social role of art and the relative values of the form, the content and the activity of the perceiver. Focusing first in England and then in Germany, this debate is present as an active substrate of various operations through which architects and art historians, between 1920 and 1937, made the early theoretical formulations of modern architecture. This compilation synoptically refers to some key texts by Joseph Addison, David Hume, Edmund Burke, Immanuel Kant, Gotthold Ephraim Lessing, G. W. F. Hegel, Konrand Fiedler, Alois Riegl, Wilhelm Worringer, Heinrich Wölfflin, Wassily Kandinsky, Paul Valery, Henri and Rudolf Arnheim Focillon. They had undeniable importance in the reflections on the status of the new architecture. | es |
