Partiendo de la reflexión sobre las tensiones que atravesaron el ideario
liberal en torno a la “femineidad deseada”, el objetivo de este trabajo es
analizar aspectos específicos en la formación profesional de la artista Lola
Mora, en un ambiente signado por la expansión del asociacionismo con
fines diversos en la provincia de Tucumán, a partir de la segunda mitad del
siglo XIX. De este modo, particular interés presentará la relación entablada
entre la escultora con estas asociaciones y con el Estado provincial.
From the reflection on the tensions that crossed the liberal ideology concerning the "wished femaleness", the aim of this work is to analyze specific aspects in the vocational training of the artist Lola Mora, in an environment sealed by the expansion of different kinds of associations in Tucumán's province, from the second half of the 19th century. Thus, particular interest will present the relation begun between the artist with some of these associations and with the provincial Government.
