Abstract
Description
The objective of this article is to revise the Pan American Women Congresses that took place in the decade of the twenties in order to explain the tensions around feminine suffrage that happened there as well as other topics that would lead in 1928 to the creation of the Inter American Women’s Commission (CIM for its acronym in Spanish). I propose to trace a map of contacts between Mexican feminists, of other Latin American countries and from the United States in their efforts to create institutions that would include them.
