| dc.description | El trabajo aborda cuestiones del campo político-social de la experiencia revolucionaria y de la temprana conformación del Estado-nación paraguayo y reflexiona acerca de que si durante este proceso se supera el “antiguo orden” o, en gran medida, se lo continúa. Durante el mismo se observan conductas y prácticas políticas autoritarias y personalistas que no dejan de tener sus raíces en las formas de comportamiento de los tiempos coloniales. Esas formas de hacer política dan lugar en el contexto revolucionario a la emergencia de líderes fuertes que se sintetizan en el Dictador J. G. R. de Francia. Éste inaugura un proyecto político que, si bien lo distancia del régimen colonial al garantizar la ruptura política, mantiene fuertes anclajes con las formas patriarcales y patrimoniales heredadas permitiendo su permanencia y continuidad. | es |
| dc.description | This work deals with issues relating to the socio-political field of the revolutionary experience and the early formation of the Paraguayan Nation-State, and reflects on whether during this process the “old order” is surpassed or, to a large extent, it is continued. During this period we observe personal and authoritarian conducts and political practices that have their roots in the ways of behavior of the colonial times. In the revolutionary context, these ways of making politics results in the emergence of strong leaders that converge in the figure of the Dictator J. G. R. de Francia. He inaugurates a political project that, even though distances him from the colonial regime as it guarantees the political rupture, it maintains strong bonds with the inherited patriarchal and patrimonial forms allowing its permanence and continuity. | es |
