dc.description.abstract | Since 2005 an interdisciplinary team of teachers of the Faculty of Agricultural Sciences of the Universidad Nacional de Rosario began working together in developing and analyzing the various communication networks established between agricultural producers and agricultural institutions in the southern region of the province of Santa Fe, Argentine. Worked with producers and institutions of the towns of Maciel, Bernardo de Irigoyen, Pujato (2 cases); Casilda, Carcarañá and Fuentes (2 cases). Interviews were conducted with producers and qualified informants; questionnaires were developed and reviewed and selected secondary data provided by governmental and non-governmental agencies. For this work was necessary to resume and problematize topics related to the information and communication flows in the countryside, in an environment of strong development of new technologies. It was also necessary to rethink the places of meetings, contextualized by economic crisis cycles that crossed over the last decade, our country. Summing up, the flow of information between producers and institutions of southern Santa Fe province is influenced, in the last decade by the incursion and acquisition of new communication technologies, the speaks are still a traditional and irreplaceable contact tool, the information from private institutions is closely linked to economic interests; soy, as most widespread crop in the area, focuses more media notes, the movile phone is the most popular new technology, regardless of the income of the users, unlike the use of Internet; the are differences between messages from those of public institutions and private institutions; the frequency of messages ranges from weekly, biweekly and monthly, and finally that new information and communication technologies set aiming contact instances more difficult to support over time as a process. | es |
