Imagen, reproducción, entorno: topos discontinuos en una reflexión estético-política

Abstract
Imagen, reproducción, entorno refieren a formas distintas
de producción de significaciones desde lo visual. “Imagen”
y “reproducción” o “copia” son expresiones registradas en
el texto “La obra de arte…” (1936) de W. Benjamin; mientras
que “entorno” remite a otro pensador de las imágenes -G.
Debord- quien en “La sociedad del espectáculo” (1967) con la
noción de “situación construida” plantea una conceptualización similar -pero invertida- de lo que aquí se va a considerar
como “entorno”.
Imagen, reproducción, entorno se disponen como topos
discontinuos, expresiones que condensan momentos de
redefinición y decibilidad de las formas-contenidos de la experiencia, evidenciando una noción ampliada de lo estético:
no reducido a lo “artístico”, sino en el sentido planteado por T.
Eagleton, como discurso del cuerpo, como lo que se percibe
a través de las sensaciones.
En primer lugar se precisa la noción de estética, retomando
fundamentalmente lecturas materialistas de la sensibilidad;
luego se identifica el significado de las tres expresiones
visuales referidas precisando algunas dimensiones de la
transformación social de la experiencia y finalmente –como
expresión sintomal de un tipo hegemónico de producción visual contemporánea- se realizan ejercicios analíticos sobre
la técnica del video-mapping, que tuvo centralidad en la reciente conmemoración del Bicentenario en Argentina.
Image, reproduction, environment refer to different forms of meanings production from the visual. “Image” and “reproduction” or “copy” are expressions registered in the text “The work of art ...” (1936) of W. Benjamin, while “environment” refers to another images thinker -G. Debord, who in “The Society of the Spectacle” (1967) with the notion of “constructed situation” poses a conceptualization similar-but-inverted contained herein will be considered as “environment”. Image, reproduction, environment are arranged as discontinuous places, as expressions condensing redefinition and decidability moments of forms-contained experience, showing an expanded notion of the aesthetic: not reduced to the “artistic”, but in the sense proposed by T. Eagleton, as a discourse of the body, as perceived through the senses. First explains the notion of aesthetics, picking fundamentally materialistic readings of sensitivity, then identifies the meaning of the three visual expressions relating pointing out some dimensions of experiences social transformation and finally -as a symptomatic expression of an hegemonic type of contemporary visual production- presents analytical exercises of the video-mapping technique, which was central in the recent Bicentenary´s commemoration in Argentina.
