Este artículo toma como punto de partida las Aguafuertes
Porteñas relacionándolas con la realidad social, política,
económica y cultural de los años 20 y '30 en la Argentina.
Roberto Arlt escribe en sus Aguafuertes sobre grandes cambios
sociales siempre haciendo hincapié en un detalle, Las
pequeñas cosas que el autor describe en cada una de sus
Aguafuertes parecerían insignificantes comparadas con lo
que sucedía a nivel macro en las calles de Buenos Aires, pero
debajo de estas situaciones cotidianas se esconde toda una
realidad. Locales sucios, casi diabólicos donde arreglan misteriosas
muñecas; recuerdos de molinos y de grandes casas
rurales donde ahora crece una incipiente metrópolis...
This articule connects the different short stories from "Aguafuertes Porteñas" with the social, political and economical reality during the '20s and the '305 in Argentina, Roberto Arlt wrote in his Aguafuertes about important social changes always standing on a detall. The small things that the author describes in eachone of his Aguafuertes lookinsignificant comparad with what was happening on a macro scale in Buenos Aires' streets, but beyond that everyday situacions a whole reality is hidden. Dirty and almost diabolical stores where mysterious dolls are repaired, memories of windmills and big country houses where nowadays an incipient metropolis is growing...
