Abstract
Description
Heading to the north and blocking the south – these contradictory and conflicting movements converge at the border between Mexico and the United States. The contribution analizes the filmic realization of means and routes of transport in the contexts of the narrativization of the border crossing and its connection to the common discourses circulating about migration with the objective of outlining an aesthetic of traffic in the contemporary Mexican cinema.
