El presente trabajo se propone recuperar la multiplicidad de vías teóricas a partir de las cuales los hombres de Pasado y Presente intentaron rejuvenecer y dinamizar el enfoque marxista ortodoxo vigente en las filas del Partido Comunista Argentino (PCA). La creación de la revista constituyó un paso decisivo en el itinerario intelectual de sus miembros y un gran esfuerzo de autorevisión identitaria. Esfuerzo que los apartó del partido y los condujo a enfrentar los límites más radicales de la matriz epistémica moderna en una titánica tarea cuya magnitud no deja de sorprender. Proponiendo una “historia de las ideas” en clave filosófica y dejando de lado enfoques más contextualistas, el trabajo apunta a repensar los límites intelectuales, epistemológicos y políticos de la primera experiencia de la revista entre 1963 y 1965.
The following article intents to make up the numerous theoretical points of view that allow Past and Present´s men to adapt the marxist orthodox perspective of the Communist Argentine Party. The creation of the magazine was an important step in the intellectual´s itinerary of its members and a big effort to revise their identity. That effort separeted them from the party and carried them to bring face to face with the more radical limits of the modern epistemic´s matrix in a difficult work wich will not let to surprise. Proposing a “history of the ideas” and leaving appart the most contextual point of view; the paper proposes to think again the intellectuals limits, epistemologics and politics of the first experience magazine´s between 1963 and 1965.
