Abstract
Description
lenguaje. Este trabajo se propone
analizar dos textos producidos por
ellos, y reflexionar acerca del modo en
que, en dicho contexto de crisis, el
lenguaje se configura como la
posibilidad de rearticulación de un
espacio de lo común.
The last years of the 60s in Brazil are marked by the crisis that undermines leftist thinking. Tropicalia Movement, in 1967, executed one of the main critics. It problematizes the rigid molds through which the orthodox left read the relationships between national and foreign and between avant-garde art and popular art, saying that these molds were based on the separation between "them" imperialist and "we" national. In this context, Rogério Duarte and Waly Salomão, artists of the Tropicalia Movement, problematize the relationship between art and language in their texts. This paper analyzes two texts produced by them, and reflect on how, in this context of crisis, the language is set as the possibility of rearticulation of an area of the common.
