Item Representaciones de lo femenino en la Retórica latina. Acerca del alma y las virtudes elocutivas(Centro de Estudios Latinos "Prof. Beatriz Rabazza", 2021-11-25) Pérez, LilianaEl tratamiento del alma en la antigüedad latina se inscribe en una forma de dualismo antropológico, altamente significativa en la historia del pensamiento lingüístico, que se instala a mediados del siglo I a.C. en Roma. Animus y anima oscilan entre dos polos: la sinonimia de los términos, variantes meramente estilísticas que conforman en ocasiones tríada con ingenium, o la consideración diferenciada de anima ―una energía vital, inconsciente e irracional, que se asocia a la vitalidad, la volición y la sensación―, por un lado, y animus, una energía racional, consciente, mental o intelectual ―las llamadas “facultades superiores” del ser humano―, por el otro. El presente artículo indaga el anima de la palabra persuasiva y focaliza el riguroso sistema de control discursivo representado por las virtudes elocutivas, destinadas a desalojar lo femenino del alma del escritor.
